Australian Actor Talks About Playing BON SCOTT In 'Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be'
July 18, 2011According to Undercover, a play based on the life of the late AC/DC vocalist Bon Scott opened earlier this month in Australia.
"Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be - The Story Of Bon Scott" documents the singer's story from his earliest bands through landing the vocalist position in AC/DC and the subsequent rise to international success.
The play has a two-week residency at the Anthenaeum Theatre in Melbourne from July 12.
The show was written by Andrew Barker, who also produced "The Man In Black - The Johnny Cash Story" and "The John Denver Story - Take Me Home Country Roads".
Nick Barker stars in the show together with Doug Parkinson who tells anecdotes of his time on the road with Scott.
